MindJack? Repping for friends.

Square Enix and feelplus released a new third-person shooter called MindJack, which takes place in the year 2031. The government has fallen and secret agents tried to make things right by hacking into vehicles, machinery and even people in order to maintain order. The game wasn’t well-received during it’s January release. IGN gave it two stars. But if you like shooters and like the ability to control people’s minds, (well not really)…then check it out. Never mind the game; one of my closest friends is featured in the American commercial. Absolutely hilarious! Check it out.Shout out to Brian Johnson. ❤

C2E2 After Party(s)

This is the first day of C2E2 comic convention at McCormick’s place. You’ll be roaming the hall for deals….scrounging away money on collectibles..but what should you do once the dealer’s hall closes? Here are  several events that might perk your interests all happening TOMORROW TODAY, MARCH 18, 2011! YESTERDAY. The party ain’t over until the sun comes up.

Boobs and Goombas: Super Mario Burlesque @11:00 PM

What do boobs and the Super Mario Brothers have in common? Boobs and Goombas: A Super Mario Burlesque @ The Gorilla Tango Theatre. Tonight @11pm. These sell out FAST so I recommend you buy these in advance.

Oh-a-no! Mario and Luigi have become so perpetually frustrated by their endless pursuit of the Princess that everything they see has started to look like a beautiful, sexy woman– even their most dangerous enemies!

Nerd City’s Rockspectacular @8PM

Nerd City, the self-proclaimed world’s drunkest nerd journalists are hosting a panel at the convention today from 4:30pm-5:30p. They’ll discuss lots of foolishness, splashed in with some podcasts and err..nerd talk.  Tonight they’ll also be hosting a C2E2 kick-off party.

Nerd City hosts the 2011 C2E2 Kickoff Rocktacular at Reggie’s Rock Club, 2109 S. State Street, on Friday, March 18th! Featuring DJ Major Taylor, Chicago’s School of Rock, Valora, Boobs and Goombas (Super Mario Bros. Burlesque), a special appearance by Jeffrey Brown, Live Band Karaoke and more, this is guaranteed to be the Nerd party of the year. With Reggie’s rock bus transporting party goers to and from the convention center, transportation ain’t a problem, so drink, Nerd, and be merry. Sponsored by Threadless, Do312, Chicago Comics, Rotofugi and Top Shelf, look for prizes and surprises galore.

Get your tickets online at nerdcityonline.com or at Nerd City’s C2E2 Booth (1026), but act soon, this event will sell out. Tickets are $10. Doors open at 8 PM.

Mortal Kombat too violent?

My answer is obviously hell no! People need to realize it’s just a game. If you don’t want your kids to play it, than that’s your own prerogative.
